Buying Club

We at just local food strive to provide you with a good selection and variety of food. But we know you want more, too! For this reason we offer you access to our main grocery wholesaler, and also offer special orders through all of our suppliers. For the best service, call or stop in!

A food buying club is an association of people who get together to purchase food. At Just Local Food, it is a way for our worker-owned cooperative to provide our customers greater access to good food. By buying through wholesale distributors and directly from farmers, our customers save money. Just Local Food works with Natural Farms, a natural foods distributor based in Madison, WI.

We currently receive an order every four weeks. Feel free to browse their product selection at the link above, you'll find they have quite a selection (fresh pasta, yogurts and dairy products, frozen foods, fresh produce, toilet paper...) Orders are due at noon on a Monday and arrive the following Thursday afternoon and can be picked up after about 5pm.

We process and package your order and total your bill. You pay when you pick your food and sundries up at our downtown warehouse location or have them delivered to your door for $5. Deliveries take place either Thursday evening or Friday depending on your order size and home location. Contact us to to set up your account and arrange for delivery, it's that simple.
